here’s a poll: When you moved away to college what things did you need the most?
My step sister is going to college next year and I figured for X-mas I would get her some things for that. I will have to mail these things, so dont say refrigerator, microwave etc. Not too spendy also please like <$50. Thnx.
I adore the backrest-type cushions (with “arms” on each side), because of liking to work in bed—have Sears or something ship it, or a gift card….
A small clamp-on light is always handy (reading in bed; task lighting; peeking in the back corners of the closet).
If they’d had Amazon when I was in school, a gift certificate or card from them would have put me in HEAVEN….all those books.
Options For Inexpensive Magic Chef Mini Refrigerators

Measuring 18.5W x 32.5H x 19.3D, this refrigerator has a full width back freezer which is a might actually be large enough to fit a couple microwave dinners. It also boasts a can dispenser to make it easier to store your drinks since this is the main thing people use this sort of fridge for a lot of the time.
The most useful of the Magic Chef mini refrigerators is probably the 4.4 cu ft size which sells for around $170. It has a lot more features, including a vegetable crisper and glass shelves, and, most importantly, push button defrost.
