How to fix a leaking refrigerator – frozen defrost drain tube
How to Fix Your Refrigerator Questions

is it cheaper to repair or replace my refrigerator?
my refrigerator is pretty old (i bought it used about 6 years ago) and the seal around the door – i think you call it a gasket – that seals the cold inside is in need of repair. sometimes humidity leaks out of the refrigerator. there is nothing else wrong with it. my question: is it cheaper to have that seal replaced, or just buy another fridge? i know you can get the small ones at home depot for like $350. i am single and don’t have a handyman around to fix it so i have no idea how much it would cost to have that seal replaced. thank you so much for your honest and polite input.
oh and i did try to figure out how to replace the seal but all i did was make a mess! LOL
