I didn’t see the one for your exact model but my guess is that they are all very similar so unless you are looking for specs, the information in the one above would be the same.
Sanyo Compact Refrigerator – Why Buy One? I Have an Icebox
Well for me, it was a simple necessity. We were having an extra large number of guests over the Christmas holiday period and my standard fitted icebox would simply not take all the extras I needed to pack in it.
It was so full that when I tried to find anything that was quite small I had no chance to see it. I was also constantly having to empty the shelves to find the things hidden at the back.
It did not help that my husband had started to grind his favourite coffees freshly, two loads at a time, to make his own personal blends. He was storing them in small pots at the top of the icebox. But of course when he came to look for them they were buried behind butter and yogurt pots and the home made cranberry sauce on the small jar shelf and so he could never find the blends he wanted, which drove him crazy.
Then, when I was looking for something else on Amazon, I had this brilliant idea. There was a small space in the playroom beside the kitchen. I measured carefully and yes there was room for a small compact refrigerator and there is a power socket there too. I could put all the small things in there and use the big icebox for the turkey and the sausages the vegetables and the milk, all the big items.
I chose the Sanyo Compact because it is possible to fit the door on either side so this gives me a lot of flexibility regarding positioning, that others do not. I can move it to another location when it is needed there. For example when I am cleaning the big icebox out after the holidays I can move the compact one into the kitchen and set the door so that I can use it to store all the odds and ends I want to keep from the big icebox, They stay safe and cool while I defrost and clean out.
However, it is at times like a family BBQ when the compact icebox really comes into its own, we plug the compact in the family room and carefully trail its lead out on to the patio and then we can fill it with the packs of prepared meat and the salads and the drinks until the guests are ready to use them. Afterwards we just fill it with the leftovers and take it back inside. My family and friends all think it is a great idea.
I will never regret buying my Sanyo compact.
